Entertaiment is a broad term that encompasses a number of different activities, events and structures. It is not necessarily a positive thing and often touches on themes that the human brain was evolved to deeply react to, like social backstabbing or murders. It also has the ability to cross over different media. It may seem that some of these structures and images have no apparent purpose but they have proven to be very persistent.
