Whenever I attend events relating to startups or meetups with demos of new products, I always like to ask the founder/inventor, “What was your inspiration for doing this?”

The best products that usually succeed are fueled by the passion and spirit for making the world a better place, rather than a desire to make money. For the Eventster team, we have travel through some bumpy roads. The team has been together two years and all of us have worked months without a paycheck at some point in those two years.

I might be spilling the beans on this too, but Eventster is not the first, or even the second product this team has developed. Life and startups are about pivoting until something works. It is not just about executing a business plan, otherwise we’d be a corporation.

So, why do this? Why build Eventster? Because it’s cool. Because it’s something we think people want! Entrepreneurs like us live to build something that changes the world!

Let me ask you… How was your weekend? Was it awesome? Do anything fun? What do you have lined up for next weekend? Do you sometime struggle looking for something fun to do? That’s why we exist. Our goal is to help people have more awesome weekends.
